Sea, Sète & Sun is a Destination Management Company specialising in daily activities and short trips in Sète and its surrounding region. 

Sète, known as « The Venice of  Languedoc” is a small and vibrant fishing town in the south of France on the Mediterranean coast.  Sete is a unique island, situated between the Sea and the Thau lagoon, renowned for its oysters and mussel beds, and its water-jousting.
The surrounding picturesque region of the Langudoc Roussillon is the biggest wine producing area in France and indeed the world.  The area is full of medieval chateaux, abbeys and beautiful countryside that can be seen in either as a day trip or on a longer holiday.

Sete is located between the popular ancient city of Nîmes and the Medieval walled city of Carcassonne.

We can organise either a short stopover or a longer holiday in this authentic and unspoiled part of France

Gourmet Sete

An English speaking guide will take you on a 2 hour walk through the city along the canals and through the covered market.  You will learn about the local produce and specialities and you will meet the shopkeepers at the market and in the heart of the city.

Tour and wine tasting with a professional oenologist

Follow the coastal road to a vineyard located between the shores of the Thau Lagoon and the Aresquiers forest.  There you will have a guided tour of the vineyard and the cellars followed by wine tasting.  Your morning will finish with a gourmet picnic lunch using the produce purchased that morning at the market.
Tour includes, 2 hour accompanied walk with an english speaking guide, transfer in air conditioned mini-bus Sete-Vineyard, tour of the vineyard and cellars with a oenologist, wine tasting and gourmet picnic.  Return to pick- up point after lunch.
